This corporation shall be know as the Macon Soccer Club.

 

 

The purpose of the Club shall be to develop, promote and administer the game of

soccer for all ages under the auspices of the Georgia Soccer Association. The Club

shall operate exclusively for charitable and/or educational purposes.

 

 

The primary objective of the Club shall be to implant firmly in the citizens of the

community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and reverence

so that they may be finer, stronger and healthier individuals who will be or are good, clean and healthy adults. These objectives shall be achieved by providing officiated, competitive soccer matches subject to the rules of the United States Soccer Federation

(USSF), the Georgia State Soccer Association (GSSA), the Georgia Youth Soccer

Association (GYSA) and any modifications approved by the governing board of the

Club.

 

 

The Club shall normally consist of the territory within District 4 of the Georgia Youth

Soccer Association that includes portions of Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe,

Peach and Twiggs Counties.

 

 

The registered office and headquarters of the Club shall be at P.O. Box 26483, Macon,

Georgia, 31221.

 

 

 

The Club shall be affiliated with and comply with the authority of the United States

Soccer Federation (USSF), the Georgia State Soccer Association (GSSA) and the

Georgia Youth Soccer Association (GYSA).

 

 

 

 

Section 1 – (Authorities) The Club shall be governed by its Constitution and By-Laws

            except when these are superseded by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF),

            the Georgia State Soccer Association (GSSA) and the Georgia Youth Soccer

            Association (GYSA).    The Governing Authority of this organization, whose

            powers shall be designated by its By-laws, shall be vested within a Board of

            Directors.

 

Section 2 – (Board of Directors) The Board of Directors will consist of 7 members.

 

 

Section 1 – (Youth Members) Any youth, irrespective of race, sex, religion or national

            origin, meeting the requirements as set forth in the rules of the United States

            Soccer Federation (USSF), the Georgia State Soccer Association (GSSA) and

            the Georgia Youth Soccer Association (GYSA), as applicable, shall be eligible

            for participation.

 

Section 2 – (Adult Members) Any adult may become a member of the Club by meeting

            the requirements of membership as set forth by the Board of Directors.

 

 

The Constitution or any section thereof may be amended or repealed by a two-thirds vote

of the entire voting membership of the Board of Directors.
